Driving Lessons Subject to Terms and Conditions:
1. In order to have a driving lesson with Voltage EV Driving School you must be over 17 (16 for some disabled people) and hold a valid UK provisional or full driving license. It is your responsibility to provide your instructor with proof that you have a valid license to drive before the commencement of your first driving lesson. If you fail to provide this proof, your instructor is entitled to refuse to conduct the driving lesson but may still charge you for such driving lesson.
2. All bank and app payments must be made to your instructor at least 48 hours before the beginning of the lesson, Cash payments must also be paid 48 hours before the lesson starts, the most convenient time will usually be at the previous lesson.
2. CANCELLATION POLICY (Strict). All cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the start of pre-booked driving lessons*. Any lessons cancelled after this point will be charged in full regardless of reason for cancelation. Pre booking any lesson will be considered a verbal contact to pay for that specific time block that will then not be available to anyone else.
*Except when the lesson is also booked within the 48 hour window, in which case 24 hours will apply.
3. The instructor will give honest advice towards test applications and reserves the right to refuse use of their car for tests booked against this advice.
4. Any block bookings or pre-payments made to your instructor are subject to a 28 day "cooling off" period. If lessons are cancelled within the 28 day period any lessons taken will be charged at the full hourly rate and deducted from the refund total. Any lessons within the 48 hour period as in point 2 will also be charged if cancelled. If lessons are cancelled after the 28 day period no refund will be given. The 28 day period begins from the date of your first lesson, or the first lesson using credit from the block payment.
5. Where no lessons have been taken or contact made with your instructor within 90 days all pre-payments will be void (unless agreed otherwise with your instructor).
6. All personal possessions taken into the car will be the sole responsibility of the pupil.
7. The instructor shall have the right to rearrange any appointment to a time convenient to both parties if the instructor is not available for any reason.
8. The instructor reserves the right to withdraw our car for tests without notice should the pupil prove not to be of test standard or the instructors advice is not followed.
9. We (the instructor of Voltage EV Driving School) cannot be held responsible for postponement or cancellation of lessons or tests due to illness, mechanical breakdown, failure of the vehicle, equipment related to the vehicle or to driving tests being postponed or cancelled by the DVSA.
10. Any penalty notices will be the responsibility of the driver. The instructor will take reasonable action to avoid this scenario however it is ultimately the drivers responsibility to stay within the legal limits of the road. On the practical driving test the learner should not expect the examiner to take any responsibility in this regard.
